​When a mysterious video feed appears on the State communication channel, renegade film historians Kevin Quartermain and George Kaplan attempt to decipher the origin and purpose behind the footage.

"Forbidden Frames", a dystopian satire about censorship and film preservation.

A filmmaker documents the process of culling his collection of film materials amassed over the last 30 years, and talks with his friend about collecting, creative independence, and their relationship with movies at this point in their lives.

"Cinevangelist: A Life in Revival Film" is also included as a bonus feature on the Blu-ray and DVD release of Abel Ferrara's The Projectionist, available from Kino Lorber.
